We look forward to seeing you, Friday, October 23, for the BISD & Texas Valley Communities Foundation will host a presentation by Boeing Engineers to Brownsville students at TSC ITECH Campus.

Agenda: Over 140 Early College High School students will hear presentations on Man Space Travel, Satellites and Corporate etiquette that will last a full day of breakout sessions. from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Background: On Friday, October 23rd, six representatives from the Boeing company will be visiting Brownsville ISD and presenting to over 140 9th grade students that have previously attended the TVCOF Space K12 Program. The purpose of their visit is to share information on their careers and current projects they are working on, motivate and inspire students to pursue careers in the STEM field and bring a real-world connection to the concepts and content they are currently studying in school. Topics to be discussed include, the Boeing corporate culture and etiquette, Man Space travel and Satellites. Our goal is that students leave with a better understanding of careers offered in the field of engineering and a desire to pursue a career in STEM.

Location: The Boeing presentation will be held at Texas Southmost College ITECH Campus at 301 Mexico Blvd Brownsville, TX
